Valy Fontil, MD

Assistant Professor

Valy Fontil, MD, MAS is a primary care doctor, health services researcher, and digital health entrepreneur who specializes in innovations for high-risk, low-income populations and the safety-net health systems that provide care for these populations. His research employs implementation science methodologies, mathematical simulation modeling, and digital health technologies to improve the quality of outpatient medical care, especially for low-income and vulnerable populations.

Dr. Fontil is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health as well as in the Department of Medicneat at NYU. He is Head of the Section of Allergy and Immunology in Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology, Department of Medicine, NYU Langone Hospital Long Island, and Program Director, Allergy Fellowship at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine
